Before that he spent ten years at Fitch Ratings analysing Structured Credit, CDO Asset Managers and Performance Analytics. He began his career in HM Forces as a Captain in the Royal Armoured Corps. Shaun holds an MBA from Cranfield, attended Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and has a BA Joint Hons from Exeter University.

Dr. Georges Duponcheele is a Senior Credit Portfolio Manager at Great Lakes Insurance SE (part of Munich RE). He teaches the Securitisation module for the Executive Master in Asset Management from University Paris-Dauphine PSL and Ensae Paris in partnership with Lefebvre Dalloz, and co-chairs the Paris Europlace Securitisation Committee Experts Subgroup on Prudential Regulation. Georges has co-written with William Perraudin and others numerous papers on the Basel and European securitisation frameworks that have helped shape regulatory thinking, including “Maturity Effects in Securitisation Capital: Total Capital Levels and Dispersion Across Tranches” (2013), “How to Revive the European Securitisation Market: a Proposal for a European SSFA” (2014), “Impact of the SA Output Floor on the European Securitisation Market” (2022), “Rethinking the Securitisation Risk Weight Floor” (2024), “European Competitiveness and Securitisation Regulations” (2024), “How to Calibrate Securitisation Capital Rules” (2025), and “Making the Bank Securitisation Capital Rules Work for Europe” (2025). He has also co-authored a paper with Ian Bell of PCS, Michael Bennett, Tamar Joulia-Paris, and Veronique Ormezzano, titled “Strengthening Financial Stability through Insurance-based Credit Risk Transfer” (2025), as well as a SUERF Policy Note on the same topic.

Rob was a founding partner of TwentyFour, where for 15 years he was a portfolio manager; managing the firm’s ABS business, its public ABS funds and institutional mandates, and was a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee.


In late 2023 Rob retired from his full-time portfolio management role, but retains a consultant-advisory role within TwentyFour, focusing on industry outreach and advocacy, education and leadership.


Rob has traded ABS since their inception and is recognised as one of the market’s leading authorities on the asset class, receiving Global Capital’s Outstanding Contribution to Securitization award in 2021. He is also a pivotal member of several high level market initiatives and steering groups.


Beginning his career in 1986, Rob previously spent over 20 years at Barclays Capital (formerly BZW) in London as a fixed income trader covering a broad range of instruments, where he established and managed the floating rate credit trading unit and was Managing Director and Head of European ABS Trading.

After 10 years in the construction & manufacturing sectors, she joined banking to develop a modern risk management framework for the bank’s global lending, investment & trading books. This gradually included governance, risk appetite, risk and performance analytics, stress testing, credit trading, as well as capital & liquidity management solutions for retail, mortgages and corporate portfolios.

 

Tamar also served on EBA’ Consultative Panel in 2010, and as Board Member at the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (IACPM) from 2006 to 2011. She left banking mid-2011 to focus on her academic pursuits in enterprise risk and in credit portfolio management, as well as on senior risk advisory work to bank, insurance, asset management and fintech companies. She recently took an independent Board Member position at the Board of Directors of a bank in orderly resolution.

 

Tamar has authored many articles, and is a regular speaker at conferences in the US and Europe.

Leanne specialises in structured finance and derivatives with a particular focus on repackagings and credit-linked products. She has acted for investors and originators across multiple jurisdictions, advising on a wide range of repackagings and structured notes linked to a variety of asset classes, including loans, commodities and funds, as well as advising on many innovative and bespoke synthetic risk transfer structures. More recently, Leanne has been focussing on sustainable products, especially carbon, and credit-linked products, particularly synthetic securitisations and risk transfer transactions in all formats. She has a special interest in sustainable finance and its impact on capital relief transactions and securitised products more widely. Leanne has been engaged in a number of innovative initiatives, including holding the pen on the market documentation for the trading of verified carbon credits (VCC) for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), advising ISDA on sustainability-linked derivatives, establishing market leading carbon-linked SPV note issuance platforms and advising on bespoke carbon structured finance products. Based in the firm’s London office, Leanne has also been seconded at different times to the firm’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices.
